special visit and corn, another first!

We had a special visit yesterday from Sam's foster family. (pictured Zachary, Ena and Paul--not in photo, was Tayon, their grandson and Sam's buddy the 1st 5 months of life)

They joined us for church and then stayed for lunch afterwards. It was a lovely visit-- we really enjoyed sharing our church w/them, too, tho there was a terrific T-storm during the sermon that knocked out electricity! (It was our newest pastor, Bryon's, 2nd message ever and the Lord added a few exclamation points of thunder here and there. hee hee)

Sam wanted to read to Ena...

This is Tayon, Sam's baby buddy. He's just woken up from his nap so he looks a bit grogg-ola here...

Here's Sam, on another day, enjoying corn on the cob for the 1st time. We weren't able to get a photo of him eating it properly, but he did. He loves corn--just like his momma! My friend Cindy and I used to fix frozen corn for dinner, when we were single. :- )

Off to the world's greatest grocery store, as I call it--Wegmans! ttfn, mb for WeThree
