Fall is certainly upon us now, eh?  I'm in process of changing the clothes over for daddy and me, but had to get into 12 mos clothes for Sam awhile ago--none of his 6-9 mos stuff had long sleeves!  12 mos pants fall off of him as he crawls around so we have to roll them down a time or 2.  But he barely fits in 9 mos shirts--tummy sticks out so much I call him little Buddha sometimes.  hee hee

And we have had a few play dates w/Zachary and Madeline.  In this photo, Zach was just about to smile--the boys seem to enjoy being together, much as almost 1 yr olds can.  And big sister Madeline loves to play w/them.  You can just see the edge of M's cheek/hair in right corner of photo.

Here is aunt Pam w/Sam at my mom's house for our annual Oct birthday party--three of us have birthdays in Oct.  Sam had a rough night, tho--he doesn't sleep in the car, being a belly sleeper, he hates the confinement of a car seat--even one w/loads of toys attached.  (If only they made car seats that let them sleep on their tummy!)  Anyway, not napping in the car makes cheerful partying (and 3 hrs of driving) difficult, to say the least.  Someday, he'll enjoy being in the car and trips to grandmom's won't be so trying for We Three.  (Two of us hope)    :- )

And mom and the aunts came up for a visit (some from Florida!).  Brought a cute little animated puppy that teaches loads of things.  Sam loved it--batteries wore out nearly immediately from all his playing w/it, but aunt Nan brought fresh ones--smart!

I'd love to get him on here in video but our camera and the blog don't seem to work well together.  Maybe next time a fellow blogger is over, we'll try it.

So that's it for now, folks.  I'll keep trying to get the little rascal on film.  Thanks for checking in!  ttfn, mb for WeThree
