We are all enjoying warmer weather. Have had a few play dates w/Lizzie ( 5 yrs old) from across the street and Mackenzie, who's only a little older than Sam. Our backyard is open to our friends' (we took down the fence) and makes a nice ball field or just a big open play area. They have all the fun stuff--little tykes playset, castle and a cool swingset! Sam thinks it's his backyard and their house is his, too. His favorite thing to do is sweep their patio w/his broom. :- )

Mackenzie is a new big sister, just as the shirt says! Her baby sister, Aubrey, was born April 1st.

Flat Stan made it to the beach (as did we) on Good Friday. Was nice weather and daddy had off for the day, so we decided Sam should see the Jersey shore... he was not too impressed but loved running up and down the boardwalk. It was too cold to take him onto the sand/near the ocean--am sure he wd've been soaked in no time. We'll wait for warmer weather. He's already eaten sand --Zachary and Madeline have a sandbox. :- )
And while mommy was up to her elbows in ham, getting ready for Easter dinner w/the fam, young Sam decided it might be fun to sit IN his kitchen drawer.
The gang at Easter... hope you all were able to celebrate Christ's death and glorious resurrection w/family and friends this year. We were, and we continue to be amazed at his grace in saving and sustaining our family! ttfn, mb for WeThree
