Nags Head vacay!

So sorry it's taken me so long to update this poor blog... been since Easter! sheesh.

Anyway, we went to Nags Head from end of May--June 5, for 2 weeks this yr, which was great. Had "me-mom" and aunty Peg with us whole time, then friends Lois, Lisa and her family 1st week; family of more aunts and niece Megan, as well as our friend Don, the 2nd week. Below are pics of the vacation-- it really was fun, tho several of us got sick one way or another, while we were there! It was the house of plagues, I said. But we survived and what better time to be under the weather than on vay-kay-shonnnnn, where there's little to be done.

1st day or 2, he was timid but by the end of wk 1, he was loving it and we had a time keeping him out of waves!

Bryan and Charlie enjoying Risk. They coerced me-mom into playing a long game, later. She did pretty well, too! Sam is strapped in his booster, having a popsicle, not playing. :- ) It was a challenge keeping him off the board--Risk takes soooo long to finish.
These 3 had so much fun together. It was hard on Sam when Jacob and Maggie went home. Here, they're watching the Wiggles before dinner. Sam now LOVES the Wiggles, something he'd never seen before the beach. I wake up w/a Wiggle song in my head EVERY morning, thanks to Lisa et al... Could be worse, could be Barney! :- )
